The Clearline CL-LAN-1 inline protector is designed to protect fast gigabit Ethernet LAN equipment from induced lightning and electrostatic discharge. The protector is weatherproof and supports 8 lines. Each pair supports 250Mbits/s. The insertion loss is negligible, and there is no loss in signal strength when the protector is used.
